Day 1: Learning as a Learner

  • Playing the Game: Participants engage in the simulation as players, focusing on running a simple retail, distribution, and wholesale business. This session emphasizes experiential learning, allowing participants to understand the dynamics and intricacies of MonsoonSIM firsthand.

• Afternoon Session (4 Hours):

  • Debrief and Reflection: Discuss experiences, challenges, and learning points from the morning session.

  • Engaging with Micro Courses: Introduction to available micro courses and how they can supplement the MonsoonSIM learning experience.

Day 2: Becoming a Facilitator

• Morning Session (4 Hours):

  • Creating and Managing Simulation Sessions: Hands-on training on starting, stopping, and running simulation games, including session saving and team setup.
  • Customizing the Business Environment: Learning to tailor the simulation environment to align with specific learning objectives, including setting up KPIs targets and the scoring matrix.

• Afternoon Session (4 Hours):

  • Advanced Facilitation Techniques: Strategies for engaging students, managing classroom dynamics, and utilizing MonsoonSIM to achieve educational outcomes.
  • Data Analytics and Performance Assessment: Training on accessing and interpreting simulation data analytics for effective feedback and assessment.
  • Practice and Feedback: Participants will practice facilitating a short MonsoonSIM session, followed by feedback from trainers and peers.
