This comprehensive one-day course equips facilitators with the tools and knowledge to guide participants through the challenging journey from launching a simple retail business with minimal capital to leading it towards a successful Initial Public Offering (IPO). Facilitators will learn how to teach entrepreneurs to start with funding from a fictitious rich uncle and demonstrate their ability to generate sales and potential profits. The course further delves into navigating multiple funding rounds—each with increasing levels of complexity and stringent milestones.
Facilitators will master how to guide participants through the intricacies of convertible notes, Series A and B funding, focusing on operational management, profitability, and strategic financial decisions. As participants prepare for the IPO, facilitators will be trained on teaching the selection of underwriters, managing a company under market pressures, and making final IPO pricing decisions in fluctuating market conditions influenced by the Dow Jones.
This course offers facilitators a detailed framework for teaching both the operational and strategic financial aspects of running a business, culminating in the skills needed to lead a successful IPO.
Prerequisite:
Facilitators interested in this course is highly recommended to have conducted at least thirty official games prior to enrollment, ensuring they bring a foundational understanding of game dynamics and teaching methodologies to the training.
