Course Introduction: BUS643 - Cost and Risk Business Simulation
Overview: Welcome to BUS643: Cost and Risk, where we incorporate the MonsoonSIM business simulation platform to enhance your learning experience. This course is designed to provide you with an in-depth understanding of Cost Accounting, Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) and internal control through interactive and practical simulations.
Course Objectives:
- To deepen your theoretical understanding of cost accounting
- To offer practical insights into ERM.
- To develop your ability to apply internal control principles in real-world business scenarios.
Learning Methodology: Throughout the course, you will engage in a series of immersive simulations using MonsoonSIM. These simulations are structured around carefully crafted business scenarios designed by your instructor. You will be guided through a journey of self-discovery, where you will tackle interactive and challenging business problems, applying the concepts learned in class to dynamic, real-world situations.
Access and Subscription Details:
- Duration: 6-month access to the MonsoonSIM platform
- Fee: $20 per student
Upon payment confirmation, your MonsoonSIM subscription will be activated. You will then be able to participate in the game sessions that your facilitator is ready to lead.
