Wrapping up business concepts and theories spanning over thirteen interconnected business departments comprehensively into one convenient platform, MonsoonSIM encourages students to practice these learning points and apply them to make business decisions in a safe and immersive environment that simulates the real-world.
With MonsoonSIM giving teachers the ability and freedom to configure the business simulation world, the experiential learning journey for each and every student is tailor-made and catered according to their individual learning needs and the particular curriculum of the university and educational institution.
With more to teach and easier to teach as some of MonsoonSIM’s core mission, this leads to the carefully and meticulously crafted MonsoonSIM curriculum roadmap. This provides a visual reference of MonsoonSIM’s education standards and learning checkpoints, as well as the resources teachers use to meet those standards within the classroom.
MonsoonSIM, in particular, has 14 modules within their curriculum roadmap—ERP 101 to ERP 114, and the seventh module will be outlined in the next few paragraphs.
In ERP 107 (E-Commerce Business 1), the business departments involved include Finance, E-commerce and Logistics/Warehouse. Essentially, in this module, learners will be able to conduct web selling (web SO), web buying (web PO), understand how to post to sell and post to buy, know more about escrow payments and performance ratings, as well as manage stock allocation for web SO.
Other opportunities provided in this module that can be a focus point for deeper analysis and reflection for learners include balancing how much to buy and to sell, the shipping details to and from stores, and how to get good ratings in e-commerce. Furthermore, from the logistics/warehouse perspective, learners will understand the effect of late or timely delivery and the shipping fees involved.
Lastly, for the finance department, students can learn more about escrow payments and escrow refund in the case of failed deliveries. Altogether, students will be able to search e-commerce buyers and sellers, post to buy or sell to e-commerce web market, checking and fulfilling web sales order and web purchase order, and see the e-commerce micro chart.
Through module 107, learners can take the time and effort to learn about allocating stocks from different locations and also manage the performance ratings.
Simply put, the ERP 107 module provides a valuable educational experience for learners, who will learn about basic e-commerce strategy, cover the basics of procurement and also tackle a rudimentary understanding of financial reports. MonsoonSIM’s immersive business simulation and gamification education platform ensure that learners and teachers alike will have an enjoyable and meaningful learning experience as a class.
MonsoonSIM’s business simulation and gamification education platform offers a unique, experiential learning opportunity for students and transforms the way business concepts are taught in class. MonsoonSIM looks forward to supporting more students worldwide in a way where there’s more to learn, easier to learn.
