MonsoonSIM is delighted to announce that version 10 is ready to be released!

After sneak peeks and waiting with bated breaths, MonsoonSIM’s version 10 presents an array of new and improved features—all of which were carefully and meticulously-developed in line with MonsoonSIM’s vision. 

To be the go-to transformative experiential learning platform for learners and teachers worldwide, MonsoonSIM successfully incorporates business concepts and theories into its platform in a way where there’s more to learn, easier to learn, and more to teach, easier to teach. This is achieved even more so with MonsoonSIM version 10. 

After all, as Tiger Woods once said, “No matter how good you get, you can always get better and that’s the exciting part.” 

Join the excitement and explore some of the new features that MonsoonSIM offers! To start off, MonsoonSIM version 10 includes a Fast Learners Registration URL. Unlike the previous versions, MonsoonSIM now enables registration time to be cut down for 50 new students from 5-15 minutes to a convenient, simple and straightforward 2-3 minutes.

What’s more, MonsoonSIM has enhanced the pre-scheduling features for both configuration changes and coffee breaks. Teachers and facilitators can now have more comprehensive control over the “roadmap” of each simulation session, tailoring it to the needs of the classroom better than ever before. Whether the configuration at hand is scheduling a particular module to be activated on a specific date within the simulation, allowing a specific vendor to play at a particular date, or even setting breaks that can automatically resume afterwards, MonsoonSIM Version 10 is here to assist. All these configurations contained in the “roadmap” can also be saved, ready to be opened and activated when needed at any time!

In terms of the layout of the simulation itself, MonsoonSIM Version 10 has your best interests in mind, placing the chat boxes in a new location such that they are always visible and accessible within a finger’s click, but ensures more space to see the data, reports, and more. The interface itself also allows new learner flexibility, where users can choose and alternate between the traditional screen as currently found in version 9, or the new side-by-side screen feature in version 10.

Additionally, the transactions in the platform also has a new status of “In Progress”. Alongside the statuses of “Requested”, “Approved” and “Completed” after a transaction has been decided and made, the “In Progress” status allows a clearer insight into the proceedings, whether it be in rental, marketing, auto-replenishment and others.

MonsoonSIM Version 10 also introduces a new Microchart, this one equipped with live updates. True to the dynamic, often-changing environment that real-world businesses are situated in, this Microchart with live updates is an opportunity for learners to practice interpreting data in real-time and quickly adapting their business practices and decisions accordingly.

Whilst the new technology that MonsoonSIM Version 10 is based on does allow transaction auto refresh and all these aforementioned features, this development also has a deeper purpose. Learning business processes should be integrative and engaging, and MonsoonSIM Version 10 intends to  focus less on merely clicking or mechanical know-how, and more towards enhancing cognitive skills and abilities.
