Established on November 14, 1960, Universitas Pasundan Bandung, otherwise known as UNPAS, is a leading university and a pride of the community. UNPAS has a diverse student body, coming from all over the 33 provinces of Indonesia, as well as from over 22 other countries, such as Thailand, Singapore, Hungary, Taiwan, South Korea, Canada, Uzbekistan, Germany, among others.
Universitas Pasundan Bandung offers 25 undergraduate study programs, 7 postgraduate study programs (S2) and 3 doctoral programs (S3) from its 7 faculties, namely the Faculty of Law, Faculty of Social and Political Science, Faculty of Engineering, Faculty of Economics and Business, Faculty of Teaching and Education, Faculty of Art and Literature, and Faculty of Medicine.
Ranking 10th in the list of Best Private University in Indonesia by UniRank, a worldwide university ranking agency, Universitas Pasundan Bandung is committed to producing graduates who are “pengkuh agamana, luhung elmuna and jembar budayana”, which respectively translates to being firm and consequent in doing the religious life, having a useful knowledge for society, and being broad-minded and cultured.
MonsoonSIM would also like to show our appreciation of the continued partnership and collaboration between MonsoonSIM and Universitas Pasundan Bandung. Since 2017, MonsoonSIM has been working closely with the Informatics Engineering Program of Universitas Pasundan Bandung to enhance the quality of education of the students. Now, MonsoonSIM welcomes yet another Study Program from the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) in adopting the MonsoonSIM business simulation and gamification education platform into its curriculum!
On Monday, December 27th 2021, Mr. Sidharta Hadi Gunawan, the MonsoonSIM Representative General Manager, visited the FEB campus in Bandung to sign the 3-year contract with Dr. H. Juanim, S.E., M.Si, the Vice Dean for Academics, acting as the Universitas Pasundan Bandung representative.
During this meeting, other important discussions regarding Kampus Merdeka, the Kemendikbud Program funding this 3-year contract, was also brought up. The Program Kompetisi Kampus Merdeka (PKKM), hosted by the Indonesian government, strives to improve the quality and relevance of universities which in turn improves the competitive competencies of the nation.
With a generous budget of over 415 billion Indonesian rupiahs to support the universities across the country, this program features an open, tiered-selection system competition. The noble goals of this Program Kompetisi Kampus Merdeka (PKKM) includes to increase higher education participation rate, strengthen the quality of lecturers and education workers and increase the relevance of higher education.
As an active, passionate advocate for experiential learning to enrich the quality of curriculum and education for students worldwide, MonsoonSIM’s business simulation and gamification education platform wholly supports this government program. It is to MonsoonSIM’s belief that this Program Kompetisi Kampus Merdeka (PKKM) can provide an opportunity for universities all over Indonesia to bolster the competencies and skills of students and produce exceptional graduates, such as in the case with Universitas Pasundan Bandung.
