From varying esteemed universities and educational institutions, namely BPK Penabur, Universitas Internasional Semen Indonesia, Universitas Diponegoro, Universitas Galuh Ciamis and Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta and more, over 7 clubs battled in this MonsoonSIM arena. It was exciting and much-anticipated to see players coming together in their clubs, striving to compete for both victory and to have fun as a team!
At the very end of the Ready Rookie League, the Grand Winner is revealed to be BUMBLEBEE club from Universitas Internasional Semen Indonesia. The winning club consists of 5 exceptional team members, namely Riza, Maya, Mira, Nafsya and Ira. Under the guidance of their mentor, Mr. Muhammad Akbar, and the excellent teamwork and enterprising efforts of the BUMBLEBEE club themselves, they have risen from the Ready Rookie League arena as victors.
The members of the BUMBLEBEE club have been playing with MonsoonSIM for over a year. When asked to on how they would describe their team in 3 words, the BUMBLEBEE club had answered, “Accounting, Cooperative and Rational; because when we play, we back each other up and always think logically when taking action.”
Mr. Abdy Taminsyah, founder and CEO of MonsoonSIM, had once said that at the very heart of what MonsoonSIM is all about is to make learning enjoyable for students, to bring fun and excitement into education.
This is certainly reflected in the Ready Rookie League Event, as the BUMBLEBEE club have also described, “This has been very fun, because we can hone and measure our ability when playing MonsoonSIM. In our opinion, the two Ready Rookie League games are favourites because each club game has a different configuration, so we have to be able to adjust it.” BUMBLEBEE had also added.
During the Ready Rookie League Event, some of the biggest challenges faced by the BUMBLEBEE club as mentioned by the team members included the lack of communication between them due to the erratic signal network and internet connection.
Communication is certainly a key factor that determines the level of teamwork and cohesiveness between the members, which is why this is a serious challenge. Despite these difficulties, the BUMBLEBEE club members weren’t daunted and pushed through, explaining how in the situation when a member experiences network signal problems, then the other members are always ready to swoop in and help. A testament to their close teamwork, BUMBLEBEE club have also added, “The point is to back up each other.”
As the Grand Winner of the Ready Rookie League Event, one advice that the BUMBLEBEE club would like to share with their fellow MonsoonSIM enthusiasts and players out there is that good communication and mutual trust in the ability of each member is the main key in playing.
