MonsoonSIM Admidst the Pandemic: Podomoro University

Amidst the pandemic, Podomoro University has successfully brought the practice of MonsoonSIM to new heights! Through the collaboration of the Podomoro University marketing team, MonsoomSIM had been taught by using the Zoom Meeting as the communicating platform. In addition, they also created a high school community whereby students can join the community to stand a chance to join MonsoonSIM and stand a chance to win vouchers that are available in every game.

On May 20, with the help of Mr Andre Jatmiko (MonsoonSIM Indonesia Representative), initiated a community game that involved a total of 36 students and they are divided into 4 groups (Group A, Group B, Group C, and Group D). What is unique about this session is that the students have to compete without any team-mates help out during the game, making it more challenging.

The community game was divided into two parts (Elimination Stage and the Grand Final) and which the highest net profit earned is used as the determinant scoring matric. In the elimination stage, all students from 4 groups contested simultaneously and after one game, the top 8 best performing students are selected to compete in the Grand Final on the same day, and the winner will be rewarded with a voucher.

Once again, MonsoonSIM would like to congratulate the Champion of this first High School Community game Howard Arturo from Surya Bangsa High School Tangerang, at the same time express our gratitude to all the Schools for their participation and support. We hope to see you again in the next community game!
